If the last decade of cinema has taught us something, it is that Ryan Gosling and Science Fiction go together like salt and pepper. Having already played in tastes First man And Blade Runner 2049The next spatial epic of the Canadian actor will be Hail Mary project – And it seems that it will be a dazzling spectacle that goes through the first glimpse that we had.
The first official poster of the upcoming film confirms on March 20, 2026, Release date and a talented casting, with Sandra Hüller (Anatomy of a fall,, The area of interest) and Milana Vayntrub (Other space, It’s us) set to play alongside Gosling.
Directed by Spider-man: in the spider Duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, Hail Mary project is an adaptation of the 2021 novel of the same name of the American author Andy Weir, who focuses on a teacher who has become astronaut who wakes up on a coma to discover that he is the last surviving member of a team sent to space to rekindle the sun.
The novel is a charter of the page captivating mainly because of the way in which the story takes place: because the protagonist wakes up without any memory of the reason why it is millions of kilometers of the earth in a spacecraft, the story develops piece by piece, which I have no doubt for striking cinema.
Weir also wrote The Martianwhich was adapted in a 2015 film of the same name of Ridley Scott, it is therefore sure to expect similar vibrations WFS (space of space) of Project Hail Mary.
Given that The Martian It was a huge success – it was largely acclaimed and 91% on the rotten tomatoes from criticism and the public – many (really yours) have great hopes that it will be another huge success.
Indeed, Weir knows how to write a fascinating story and see that it is the second novel to be adapted in a film, I bet it will be just as good, especially since another star on list A will be in the main role.
Ryan Gosling should also join the Star Wars universe as a whole new character in the next film Star Wars: Starfighter, Which should be released in theaters in May 2027, so it is not the only science fiction film on which he worked.
Hail Mary project will be published in theaters on March 20, 2026.
