WNBA champion Natasha Cloud made fun of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo when he published a video announcing his independent campaign for the mayor of New York.
Cloud, who plays for New York freedom, wrote on social networks that Cuomo was only “copying” Zohran Mamdani, who received the sign of a democratic head in the very contested mayor’s race.

“This is not your public relations team in Copy of Mamdani,” said Cloud in response to Cuomo’s video.
The Cloud was a frank supporter of the socialist candidate at the town hall. She declared in an interview with clutch points that Mamdani’s victory in primary has restored her “hope in humanity”.
“He obtains the worst PR because he is Muslim, he is a socialist, and he is a democrat. But he thinks that it is the right of the government to take care and to ensure that all his voters live a worthy life, no matter who you are, what your religious affiliation or your experience is. I think it’s beautiful,” said Cloud at the end of the month.
“I think that on the whole, it is the right choice. But why it is so stimulating for me, it is that it has restored my hope a little in humanity. Even within the limits of what is happening at the moment in our government and in our country, people will express themselves. People will present themselves. And there is a lot of humanity in this world so that we are careful about each other.”
As for Cuomo, he said he was “inside to win it”.

Mamdani reacted to rumors that Cuomo was going to reintegrate the race on Monday.

Mamdani also trolted the former governor on Monday, responding to a photo of Cuomo spinning his campaign video.
“We had him made of the man in the street videos with a guy at Carhartt. Next week, he will shout Adeni Chai and eat Khaliat Al Nahl,” said Mamdani in reference to his own viral campaign videos.
