Ashton Jeanty is less than 48 hours from the realization of his dream for life to hear his name called to the draft of the NFL.
The former State Star State has become a superstar of the 2024 season by rushing for the second yards of a collegial season, exceeding the record of all time by Barry Sanders.
But at a time when running backs are rarely picked early, Jeanty will be a first-round choice, maybe even the top 10.

Jeanty will be at the draft of Green Bay to take advantage of “the unique opportunity”.

Jeanty does not know which team hat he will wear when he starts dancing with Goodell. The three main candidates, they believe, are the Bears, the Raiders and the Cowboys. But the NFL draft is always delivered with twists and turns.
“I think there are teams that could possibly exchange, but you never know. It could be a team you have not even talked about,” he said.
He had a direct message to the 32 teams last week in a play for “The Players’ Tribune” in which he implored each of them to “write the guy they cannot attack”. There was not a lot of Jeanty tackle last year, because it traveled 2,601 yards and 29 affected.
These figures are unknown in the NFL, but Jeanty is convinced that he will be up to his media threw.

“The work I put every day, I am just confident in the way I work and continue to improve,” he said. “Obviously, it will be a learning curve with a new offense, but the competence is there. If you have skills, no matter the offense in which you are, which diagram you use. You can give life to these skills. Breaking tacles, regardless of the diagram in which you are. You just have this capacity.
“And I have the impression that in my time in Boise State, I had a different OC almost every year and a different offense, but the main thing remained the same: I was able to break the plated and be a playmaker. I think the same thing will happen at the next level.”
