The chargeers will start next season over 6,000 miles from the friendly limits of the Sofi stadium. The NFL returns to Brazil and has operated the charge as a team designated for the international match.
The opponent of the charges will be revealed this spring, according to the NFL.
The match is scheduled for Friday, September 5 in Neo Quimica Arena in São Paulo and is part of the International NFL series. Once the game starts, the charges will be the first franchise in the history of the League to participate in the NFL matches on five continents.

Since 1976, the charges have played regular seasonal or pre-season games in Mexico City, London, Tokyo, Berlin and Sydney.

“It is an honor to represent the NFL once again on an international scene,” said Ag Spanos, the president of the commercial operations of the charges. “It is also a great opportunity to help develop the game and bring the brand in charge to millions of sports fans through Brazil and Latin America.”
The NFL has announced that seven regular season games will be played international during the 2025 season. The league can plan up to eight regular season games next season.

In addition to the match in Brazil, London is expected to host three games, and Miami dolphins will play in the very first regular season game in Spain. The Indianapolis colts were selected as a home team for a match in Berlin, Germany in 2025, and the Pittsburgh Steelers will go to Dublin to host the first regular season game in Ireland.
In 2026, the Rams of Los Angeles will be the designated team of a match in Melbourne, Australia, which will be the first time that a NFL match has been on this continent.
