Pittsburgh and Aaron Rodgers steelers have been linked for months to free agency, but that does not mean that a union is imminent.

Rodgers, 41, would not have given the Steelers no guarantee that he will sign with the team.

Rodgers “didn’t say to the Steelers he came from,” Tom Pelisero said Nfl Network in a recent appearance in “The Rich Eisen Show”.

The NFL MVP quadruple MVP said that it had not closed the door to retirement.

“I am open to anything and I am attached to nothing. Retirement could always be a possibility, but at the moment, my goal is and has been and will continue to be on my personal life. … There are still conversations that have had Rodgers on” The Pat McAfee Show “in April.

“I am in a different phase of my life. I am 41 years old. I am in a serious relationship. I have things out of the field that requires my attention. I have personal commitments that I made without knowing what my future will look like after last year which is important to me.

“And I have a few people in my inner and interior circle that really fight against difficult things. So I have a lot that attracts my attention – and have, really starting in January – far from football.”

The Steelers Star SECTOR says that Aaron Rodgers, the saga of the free agency, is not a “distraction at all”

Volunteer off -season training is underway, but it remains to be seen if Rodgers decides to play football and sign with the Steelers or if he decides to call him a career after 20 seasons.

With the New York Jets last season, Rodgers launched for 3,987 yards, 28 affected and 11 interceptions in 17 games.

The Steelers last season led 10-7 with Russell Wilson and Justin Fields as a starting quarter. However, Wilson and Fields went to the free agency.

The Steelers have three quarters on their list – Mason Rudolph, Skylar Thompson and the choice of draft of sixth round Will Howard.
