Washington commanders will be without one of the best weapons of Jayden Daniels for the rest of the season.
Ball carrier Austin Ekeler tore his Achilles at the end of the team’s defeat against Green Bay Packers with Field Lambeau on Thursday, an MRI confirmed, in several reports.
Ekeler, 30, came across a contactless game while performing a route. He struck on the ground and was helped out of the field because he could not put any weight on his right leg before being finally transported from the field.

Ekeler started the two games this season for commanders, winning 43 yards in 14 races and catching five passes for 38 yards.
NFL’s nine -year -old veteran is in his second season with commanders after spending seven seasons with Los Angeles loaders. Ekeler appeared in 12 games, starting six of them last season.

He ran out of 367 yards and four affected while being a precious pass for Daniels out of the back field. Ekeler captured 35 passes for 366 yards.
Commanders will turn to the recruit of seventh round Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Jeremy McNichols to carry the load. Croskey-Merritt, 24, has 14 races for 99 yards and a hit during the first two games of the commanders of the season. McNichols, 29, has four races for 25 yards on the same range.

The defensive commanders Dealing Wise Jr. will also miss the rest of the season after undergoing quadriceps surgery. Wise was injured while trying to block an additional point attempt in the first half.
Commanders will seek to come together with their loss against packers when they will face Las Vegas Raiders at home next week.
