The star quarter of the Buccaneers of Tampa Bay designed a journey of 11 games and 80 yards which included two heroic pieces to keep their hopes alive as they beat the Texans of Houston, 20-19.

During the last journey of the Buccaneers, Mayfield looked at the 4th and 10th on their own 32 yards line. He faced an enormous pressure from the defense of the Texans, but used his legs to run 15 meters to get the first and keep the journey alive. Two games later, Mayfield found the Ballon Bucky Irving Ball carrier who crosses the ground. Irving has bypassed a potential platform and lost three others on its way to a gain of 22 yards.
Mayfield moved the offensive on the field and Richaad White hit the ball in the goal area for the 2 yards. He put the buccaneers at one point.
The Texans would not have another offensive game even with six seconds to play.
Mayfield took Lick after Lick in the match and was dismissed four times. He was hardly struck on scrambles and even put himself in front of the defensive back of the Texans CJ Gardner-Johnson after a game. However, he had 25 out of 38 with 215 yards by the pass and two Touché passes. He added 33 yards to the ground.

Tampa Bay’s first hit in the first quarter when Mayfield found Ryan Miller on a 20 yards score. Mayfield found the recruiter recruited Emeka Egbuka for a touch of 15 yards in the second quarter. Tampa Bay had an advance from 14-10 to halftime.
The Texans quarter CJ Stroud fought against the pressure of the Buccaneers defensive line. But he kept Houston near the end of the match as best he could.

With 2:10 on the left, Stroud gave the ball to the bearer of Ballon veteran Nick Chubb. He climbed for a touch of 25 yards to take the lead. It was the first touch of chubb on the ground since November 21, 2024.
The defense of the Texans failed to maintain its end of negotiation.
Stroud finished 13 out of 24 with 207 yards and a pass of touch to Nico Collins.

Tampa Bay improved at 2-0 over the year, marking the fifth consecutive season they have reached this record. Houston fell to 0-2.
