The Indianapolis All-Pro Colts goalkeeper, Quenton Nelson, was selected n ° 6 in total in the draft of the 2018 NFL and crossed all the ups and downs with regard to the quarter position.
Andrew Luck, Jacoby Brissett, Brian Hoyer, Philip Rivers, Carson Wentz, Matt Ryan, Sam Ehlinger, Nick Foles, Gardner Minshew, Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco each started at least one match since Nelson entered the League.

Thus, when the colts announced Tuesday that Daniel Jones would be the starter of week 1 on Richardson, who was supposed to be the future of the franchise, fans could understand the frustration of Nelson.
“I would say it. I think I would lie if I said it was not,” said Nelson when he was asked if the lack of consistency had been frustrating, via athletics. “You are looking around the league and just see the consistency of having Patrick Mahomes or a quarter behind you who has been the franchise player for years and years and years, and make this chemistry with this quarter-back year after year, there is an advantage for the O-Line game. So, to answer your question, yes.”

Luck’s steep retirement before the start of the 2019 season seems to be leaving the colts without a quarter plan. The franchise used veterans to connect the hole but nothing really worked.
The colts have made the playoffs twice since 2018. Richardson, Ehlinger and Jacob Eason were one of the team’s quarter -draft choices. The team selected the former off-procure of Notre-Dame Riley Leonard in the sixth round this year, but it was not a real option to start week 1 this season.

“Since we signed Daniel, we knew that it was going to be a big decision (head coach Shane Steichen) and the front office to take,” added Nelson. “And nothing really changes for us. We will always come to work, do our job, always support the two guys. But it’s nothing completely new for us.”
