Darren Waller held the chronometer on Monday evening to help Miami dolphins defeat the New York jets.
The only Pro Bowl, the Pro Bowl, appeared in its first match for the Dolphins during the 2025 season after taking a year after a visit with the New York Giants. He looked like his old self because he was able to cut the defense of the jets on several occasions.
Waller caught two passes in touch in a single match for the first time since he was with the Raiders of Las Vegas in December 2020. He had his first hit since October 2023, when he was still with the Giants.

The first Touché took the second trimester. Tua Tagovailoa found a way to bring dolphins into the red zone thanks to a creative flip at Malik Washington and Easy throws to Tyreek Hill.
The second hit closed a six -game game and 36 yards in the third quarter. Tagovailoa found Waller for a touch of 9 yards.
It had taken a bit for Waller to get back into play because he had been out of the league for over a year. But, at least on Monday, the chance that the dolphins took care of Waller.
It was not all smiles for dolphins.
Miami took a hit in the third quarter when Hill suffered a horrible knee injury. Multiple reports have indicated that the team feared having dislocated their knee. If it is confirmed, it is likely that it would be absent for the rest of the season.

Tagovailoa was 17 out of 25 with 177 yards with the two Touché passes. The ball carrier of’von Achane ran out of 99 yards and a score.

Hill had six catches for 67 yards before leaving the match. Waller had three catches for 27 yards.
The jets tried to return to the game.
Justin Fields needed a miracle the 4th and 1 in the third quarter. He was prosecuted by the defense of the Dolphins and was able to avoid potential plates to find a hole and burst. He climbed for a touch of 43 yards to put pressure on Miami.
The jets almost had a touch on a pass of Fields at Garrett Wilson. However, Wilson was called to an offensive pass interference and he canceled the score. New York had to settle for the basket.
Wilson caught up that later at night with an incredible socket and keeping closely within the limits.

But they were frustrating scenes for jets for the whole night.
New York committed 13 penalties for 101 yards with three turnarounds. These penalties finally destroyed any momentum that the offense would accumulate.
Fields finished 20 out of 27 with 227 yards with the pass and pass pass in Wilson. He also managed the team with 81 yards on the ground.
Wilson finished with six catches for 82 yards.

The jets have now lost 10 consecutive games against the dolphins in Miami.
