The frustrations of Baltimore Ravens, the frustrations of Derrick Henry, evolved Monday evening when another escape helped to condemn the team in his defeat against the Lions of Detroit.

Henry had a decent match against the Lions for the most part, but as in the defeat against the Buffalo Bills, the momentum of the Ravens was thwarted four points in the fourth quarter. The star player took the transfer and the ball was eliminated from his grip by the defensive winger of the Lions Aidan Hutchinson.

Henry was seen slam his disgust helmet once he returned to the sidelines. He finished with 50 yards on the ground in 12 races and a touchdown.

Detroit kicked a goal on the field to extend the lead to seven points at their next possession. Baltimore would only mark 29 seconds remaining in the match.

The Lions won 38-30.

Henry offered apologies to Ravens fans. He has three escaped in three games while the Ravens fell to 1-2 this season.

“I am my worst critic, so I’m going to watch the film,” he told journalists. “I will continue to look at it. I know we have a short week, but it’s just crazy. Three straight escapes. I try every day to solve the problem that keeps happening, so I try to work on it.

“I am my worst critic, so I’m not going to try to fight too much, but it’s hard not to do it when it is consecutive and coherent [instances] of me doing the same thing. “”
