Las Vegas raiders have their new quarter-arre, and it’s head coach Pete Carroll.
Geno Smith was negotiated by Seattle Seahawks in the Raiders in exchange for a third -round draft choice in 2025, in several reports.
Las Vegas had to add a quarter of a quarter a quarter after having released Gardner Minshew and having quarter-back problems in the last two seasons with Jimmy Groppolo and Aidan O’Connell in the mixture.

Instead of signing a free agent or waiting for the draft of the NFL 2025, the Raiders have concluded a successful agreement with the Seahawks, a team that apparently seeks to shake off their own list, to drop the signal veteran.
Raiders, who have the sixth choice in total in this year’s draft, could still take a quarter-back.
Smith has only one year on his contract, and ESPN reports that trade has been done without an extension in place, which means that Smith would become a free agent in 2026.

Although the agreement has not yet been official, the Star Raiders of the defensive winger Maxx Crosby, which has just become the best paid non-quarter in the history of the NFL with a new extension to Las Vegas, shared its reflections on the news.
There is also a meeting in “Sin City”, while the new head coach Pete Carroll and Smith are recovering together.
When Smith joined the Seahawks in 2020, Carroll was in his 11th season at the top of Seattle. Carroll supervised Smith’s career change campaign in 2022, while he was a Bowler Pro-lanceur player for a career summit of 4,282 yards with 30 touchdown and 11 interceptions.

The season has cemented Smith’s place as a quarter-back from the team, and he has occupied this role in the past two seasons. Carroll, however, was released after the 2023 season and did not lead in 2024.
The 73 -year -old man was brought back to the NFL by the Raiders.
The Seahawks, a team that released the veteran Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf asking for a job, seem to demolish things by leaving their franchise quarter.
The Seahawks will immediately be a competitor for the quarter-rear of free agents like Sam Darnold, Aaron Rodgers and others in search of a new team.

Smith led the Seahawks to his best regular season record since his name as a starter, going 10-7 in 2024. Despite these efforts, Mike Macdonald as a new team coach, the Seahawks have missed the playoffs.
Despite a roller coaster tour, Smith reset his career summit in the yards by the pass, launching for 4,320, also a franchise record. He launched for 21 affected and 15 interceptions.
Despite a single appearance in the SEATTLE playoff series as a leaving – a defeat in Joker’s round in 2022 – Smith has proven that he can do the work in moments of clutch. He led the Seahawks with four winning training sessions, and that binds him with the star of the Chiefs of Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes, with nine in the last two seasons.
Smith and Carroll hope that he will be able to abandon this interception issue before 2025. It was the third of the NFL last season.

Macdonald has always supported Smith despite questions about his future with the franchise, including last month when he said: “Geno is our quarterrier. I do not understand the conversation. It is quite obvious that this guy is a sacred quarter.”
But a shocking trade has dropped, modifying the two franchises before the new year of the league, which starts on March 12, when free agents are officially authorized to sign with teams to whom they spoke during the legal falsification period from March 10.
