Rob Gronkowski was left perplexed when he learned that the choice of New York draft, Abdul Carter, had asked the secondary temple Lawrence Taylor to let him carry the emblematic n ° 56.

Gronkowski reacted to his podcast with Julian Edelman.
“Was it serious, asking for the number of Lt? Yes, you were a high recovery choice, but LT is an absolute legend,” said the legend of the New England Patriots on the Podcast “Dudes on Dudes”. “The best to do it, one of the best defenders of all time, and let me tell you brother, as, you have to show yourself. It’s crazy to ask the number of LT, and I’m glad that it stopped it like that.”
Edelman asked Gronkowski what Bill Belichick would say to Carter if he had asked to wear No. 56. Belichick was the defensive coordinator of the Giants when Taylor was wreaking havoc for opposing offenses.
