The old Ole Miss’s in-competition has become the second quarter since 2000 to have a passing touch, to precipitate the touch and rush for at least 50 yards during its first departure since Tebow did with the broncos of Denver in 2010, according to NFL Research.
He finished 13 out of 20 with 111 yards with the pass. His pass of a touchdown went to Theo Johnson.
“I have a lot of confidence in our recruit quarter,” said Giants head coach Brian Daboll. “But it’s a quarter recruit, so there will be errors that will be made. We know it. There will be more next week, there have been this week. It will not be perfect.”

The NFL search said that Dart was the first quarter-Arrière to win his first career departure against a team that was at least 3-0 in the past 23 years. The last quarter-Arrière to do so was the star of St. Louis Rams, Marc Bulger, against the Oakland Raiders in October 2002.
Like Dart, Tebow was also a choice of first -round draft in 2010. He made the first start of his career in the week 15 against raiders.
