“I had people say:” Jerry, you submit to so many criticisms. You need a stamp. “I don’t like it like that – I like pain.”
Jones has been team managing director since the purchase of the franchise in 1989. Cowboys had a significant success at the start of its mandate, winning the Super Bowl XXVII (1992), the Super Bowl XXVIII (1993) and the Super Bowl XXX (1995).
Since this dominant race from start to the mid -1990s, cowboys have not experienced the same level of success. The last time they reached the NFC championship match was in the 1995 season, the year they won the Super Bowl for the last time.

The drought of the Cowboys 30 -year conference championship is the fourth longer drought active in the NFL.
Last season, the Cowboys finished 7-10 and missed the playoffs while the quarter-rear Dak Prescott was limited to eight games with an injury to the hamstrings. They made the playoffs in 2023 but lost 48-32 against Green Bay packers during the Wild Card Round.
Jones is currently under fire of the cowboys fans base after the Rusher Star Edge Micah Parsons asked for a job a few weeks ago. Fans chanted “Pay Micah” in Jones throughout the training camp.

The cowboys open their season on September 4 against the division rival and the defending champion of the Super Bowl, Philadelphia Eagles. Jones said that he was not convinced that Parsons would play in the game.
Parsons “held” at the Cowboys training camp, attended meetings and practices, but did not participate in the field.
If Parsons does not play in week 1 – or if he is granted his wish and exchanged – Jones will certainly feel the pain of an upset fans base.
