Jones praised Pickens when speaking to reporters.
“Pickens was…I’ve never seen a performance like that. It was poetic the way he did those moves there. It was like he was in an opera or something. A ballet,” Jones said, via Pro Football Talk.
Dallas acquired Pickens from the Pittsburgh Steelers during the offseason and, so far, he has proven to be a boon for the offense. He has 58 catches for 908 yards and seven touchdowns, a career high.

The Cowboys improved to 4-5-1 this season. Jones was asked if they were building momentum to push for the playoffs.
“You look at those numbers, they’re intimidating as we look toward the playoffs. [run,] but we don’t want to look any further than this weekend with Philadelphia. …” Jones said, via the team’s website. “Ultimately, I’m excited to play in Philadelphia, and it will be a good outing for our team’s roster right now. I can’t wait to see the match.”
