The quarter of the New York Jets Justin Fields seems to have avoided a pre-season disaster.

Fields was transported from the field during the team training camp earlier during the day.

Jets’ head coach Aaron Glenn said he “assumed” that someone was walking on the toe of the fields, but said he wanted to look at the band and ensure that it is the cause. Glenn added that Tyrod Taylor is ready to take over if necessary.

Fields signed a two -year contract worth 40 million dollars during the offseason to replace Aaron Rodgers.

Fields appeared in 10 games for Pittsburgh Steelers last season and started six. The team went 4-2 to its departures, and it completed 65.8% of its passes for 1,106 yards with five affected and an interception.

Fields was also effective in the racing game, carrying the ball 62 times for 189 yards and five affected last season.

While Fields did not play badly, the Steelers put him in the bench after six games in favor of Russell Wilson.

The jets brought fields to be their quarter-back leaving after freeing Rodgers, who experienced two disappointing seasons with the team.

Outside the fields, jets have three other quarters on their list: Taylor, Adrian Martinez and Brady Cook. If Fields were to be missing, Taylor is well suited to replace it as a leaving quarter.

Taylor, 35, played in the 14 NFL seasons, started 58 games and has a record of 28-28-1. Taylor appeared in two games last season with the jets and finished 17 to 22 assists for 119 yards and three affected.

In 2023, Taylor began five games for the New York giants and had a 2-3 sheet when he finished 64.4% of his passes for 1,341 yards with five affected and three interceptions.
