The quarter of the New York Jets Justin Fields should start his first season with the club and suggested that he had more than ever on his faith when he sails in his new environment.
Fields met on Tuesday to journalists on Tuesday and explained how his relationship with God helped him block the outside noise around him and to focus on the tasks to be accomplished.

“I do not play for anyone’s approval,” said Fields. “You will all have your opinion and I will never take it personal. As I said, it does not matter. You can all have an opinion, you can all say this and that, but at the end of the day, we do not change. If I tell you something right now, the same thing will happen.
“It does not really affect life, it does not really affect the way we live. So, if you look at it from this perspective, the wider perspective, no matter what someone says, it doesn’t matter at the end of the day. It has no meaning for me, for anyone. God controls everything that happens in this world. I only let people be and let them speak.”

Fields said he had picked up the state of mind in the past six months. He joined the jets in a free agency after a season with the Pittsburgh Steelers and several with the Chicago Bears.
He said that getting closer to “God” was a major reason why his goal has changed.
“My relationship, my reading of the Bible every day,” he said. “If I am real, there are superb lines and great wisdom that I did not even know. I am addicted to discreet touches to enter my Bible every day because I learn something new every day and I am able to apply it to my daily life.

“I slept by reading the Bible earlier in my life. I would have liked to start earlier. So I encourage you to read you a little. Start in the proverbs and continue from there.”
