The marriage between Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys ended with an ugly divorce last week after the defensive star was exchanged at Green Bay packers.
The Rusher All-Pro Edge asked for an exchange at the beginning of last month, citing the comments of Jerry Jones about him, saying that he “no longer wants[ed]”To be in Dallas.
Finally, Parsons moved and signed an agreement of $ 188 million over four years with Green Bay, breaking records.

Jones said he also offered Parsons a record contract, but when Parsons agent David Mulugheta was questioned on this subject during the “first take” of ESPN, he said that it was a “loaded question”.
Mulugheta confirmed that the cowboys offered Parsons an agreement where its average annual value would have been $ 40.5 million, “which would have done it, at the time, from an APY point of view (average per year), the most public”.
But it would not have been paid as the highest paid player in the NFL in the first three years as the structure was, said the agent.
“The devil is in detail,” added Mulugheta.

Mulugheta also seemed to suggest that the guaranteed money of parsons with Dallas would only have been for the first year.
“If you look at many of these contracts that cowboys have done in recent years … The guarantees do not extend much further than the first new year. If you are watching the current Micah agreement, it guarantees four years,” he said.
“Micah wanted to be a cowboy. He grew up by applauding the cowboys, wore blue and white to Penn State, wore him for the cowboys, he wanted to be a cowboy, and we did everything we could to remain a cowboy. … There are certain things that have been set up in the media to make him look like a good business which is simply not the case. “
