Michael Pierce, the defensive platform of Baltimore Ravens, announced his NFL retirement on Wednesday after almost a decade of the League.
Pierce, 32, spent nine years in the NFL, seven seasons with the Ravens and one with the Vikings of Minnesota. He opted in 2020 due to the Pandemic COVID-19.
“I decided to call him a career,” shared Pierce on the “Sports Spectrum” podcast. “It was a beautiful, beautiful and beautiful years. I had so many people who help me along the way.”

“I would like to thank a few people personally, obviously my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, above all.”
One of the people he thanked was the former director general of Ravens, Ozzie Newsome, who signed her as a free agent not drafted in 2016.
Pierce spent the first four seasons of his career with the Ravens, then signed a $ 27 million contract over three years with the Vikings before the 2020 season.
The tackle of the nose withdrew from the cocovated season and played a season with the Vikings before freeing itself. Pierce then returned to the place where it all started, returning to the Ravens on a $ 16.5 million contract over three years.

During his nine -year career, Pierce had 218 plated in total, 9.5 bags, 19 plated for loss, with six recovery and a memorable interception.
The Ravens increased by 35-10 against the Cleveland Browns in week 18, January 4, 2025, with just over two minutes in the fourth quarter.
