Cleveland Browns Shemer Sanders’ quarter-arre will return to action during the team’s last pre-season match.

Sanders missed the second pre-season match of the Browns against the Philadelphia Eagles with an oblique injury, but head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed that he would play against the Rams of Los Angeles on Saturday.

“He feels better and better. So, unless everything be revealed, if he does not feel well tomorrow, which I do not plan that he would play on Saturday,” said Stefanski at a press conference on Thursday.

Joe Flacco will start and should play from 25 to 30 snaps, while his other quarter recruit Dillon Gabriel will take the second quarter and Sanders the third.

Sanders began the first pre-season game of the team against the Caroline Panthers and impressed, finishing 14 of the 23 passes for 138 yards and two affected.

In this match, Gabriel was sidelined with an injury to the hamstrings and did not play. He made his professional debut against the Eagles last week and had mixed results, completing 13 of the 18 passes for 143 yards, but launching a pick-six and losing an escape from a sloppy transfer.

Saturday’s match with the Rams will be the first pre-season match in which the two quarters recruits see the action. It can also be their last chance to extend a playing time for a while, because Flacco was named Quarterrière starting from the team earlier this week.

On the depth board of the Browns, Kenny Pickett is listed as the backup of Flacco, Gabriel is third String and Sanders is fourth.

Pickett has been sidelined with an injury to the hamstrings since the end of July. The old choice of recovery of Pittsburgh Steelers did not play this pre-season and will not play on Saturday.

The last pre-season match of the Browns against the Rams starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
