Sports for young people in America are more competitive than ever, especially football. A man with an elevation assessment of the boys who can prosper is the wide champion receiver of the Super Bowl Ed McCaffrey.
McCaffrey is the father of the Superstar San Francisco 49ers Running Back Christian McCaffrey, the receiver of the commanders of Washington Luke McCaffrey, the assistant coach of the Dolphins of Miami Max McCaffrey and the former quarter of the college Dylan McCaffrey.
“We were lucky. We had big children who were very competitive, very motivated. We established certain standards. The academics were important for us. We wanted to make them a good education, so if they did not play well in class, they would not be allowed to play sports,” said Ed.

Adversity management is a critical development point in parenting for McCaffreys. Ed believed in parental intervention after moments of adversity in sports in particular.
“After the match, if things are not going well, neither for them personally, nor their team, or if they are injured, or at any time that they go through a difficult period, as a parent, you want to start their minds starting again, tap them in the back and say again”, “he said.

For young athletes, Ed McCaffrey thinks that victories and losses are less important than the individual state of mind of competition.
“If you play to earn and do your best, then you’ve already won, whatever the dashboard,” he said.
“It is not a question of winning every match. We all want to win, but you are not going to win every match you play. It is to know that you have given him everything you could to your team, to your sports.”

For McCaffrey and his sons, undoubtedly the most critical aspect of their athletic success was their daily lifestyle, in particular the diet and sleeping enough.
The vast majority of the meals of the sons of McCaffrey were prepared at home by their mother, Lisa McCaffrey, said Ed, adding that Lisa prepared dinner for the boys “every evening”.
Due to the constant sporting activity of boys, parents have increased the amount of red meat and the dairy products they have eaten at higher levels than what is recommended for the average adult.
“Children can consume a little more red meat, a little more fat, more dairy products,” said McCaffrey.
Offering homemade food was even more important with regard to snacks before sporting events. If Ed or Lisa gave them food at all before the games or the practice, he had to be free from certain ingredients and “easily digestible”.

“It is difficult to consume food before an event, because most foods have things that are difficult to digest, but they have additives that affect your intestine, and it is difficult to compete,” said Ed. “It was so important for us when they grew up to give them healthy snacks that are easy to digest.”
One of the most common snacks Ed and Lisa nourished by their sons was homemade protein stings, which have since inspired the family to release their own line of McCaffrey protein bites with similar ingredients. These ingredients include flax seeds, brown rice and pea proteins. They also ensured to keep peanuts out of the bites due to the allergies of their sons.
