With 8:41 am to play in the match, the Broncos quarter-back found the winger tight Evan Engram for the end of the first marker. A flag was launched on the game and Engram was called to an offensive pass interference.

“It will be a choice which, I do not think, is correct,” said Romo almost immediately after the flag launch. “I really don’t think it’s actually a game of choice. It is actually accidental because they are traveling a route and that they would run at random. I would take it if it was me. But if I am a fan of the Eagles, I would say it’s 100% (right).”

Even with the penalty, Denver walked in the field and marked a touchdown and took the lead with the conversion in 2 points.

The broncos recovered the ball with 3:37 to play in the match. Nix returned to pass and was immediately under pressure by the defense of the Eagles. He threw the ball with the tight winger Adam Trautman in the region, which would not have justified a penalty call for intentional land – at least thought the fans.

The officiant crew decided to launch a flag for intentional landing after all. While Romo, Jim Nantz and the officiating analyst Gene Steratore discussed the call, the officials recovered the flag thanks to the rereading. The call was changed into an incomplete pass.

“Don’t tell us?” Romo said the silence of the officials. “Not so serious – just a huge business.”

These are these two calls that Romo seemed to be upset. Fans of the NFL turned their attention to the penultimate game of the game in which it seemed that the Eagles loved Dallas Goedert with whom he was interfering while trying to take a launch of Jalen Hurts.

There was no launched flag and the broncos escaped with the victory.
