The National Highway Authority (NHA) announced a second increase in toll taxes on national highways and highways, new prices should take effect from April 1.
According to an official notification, the toll costs for cars will be Rs. 70, Vans Rs. 150, and Bus RS. 250. Trucks with two and three axles will be invoiced Rs. 300, while the largest trucks will pay RS. 550.
Significant increases have been applied to several major highways, including M1, M3, M4, M5, M14 and E35. The toll for cars on the M1 Islamabad-Peshawar motorway went from Rs. 500 to Rs. 550. On the M3 Lahore-Abdul Hakeem motorway, the costs went from Rs. 700 to Rs. 800.
Likewise, car tolls on the M4 Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan road went from Rs. 950 to Rs. 1,050, while those of the M5 Multan-Sukkur M5 motorway were noted from Rs. 1,100 to Rs. 1,200.
The M14 motorway Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla now invoices RS. 650 for cars, against Rs. 600. The toll for cars on the E35 Hasan Abdal-Havelian-Mansehra road was increased from Rs. 250 to Rs. 300.
For larger vehicles, toll rates on these highways now vary from Rs. 850 to Rs. 5,750.
