The Kings of Los Angeles welcomed Edmonton’s Oilers on Monday for an eliminatory match of the Stanley Cup in the first round, and an avant-match performance has become a subject of conversation.
Members of the Korea Town Senior & Community Center played “The Star-Spangled Banner” before the Drop Puck in Crypto.com Arena. The group used harmonics instead of singing the American national anthem.
The majority of the crowd present to approve the respect of the thousands of people remaining to applaud the artists.

But some observers went to social networks to express their dissatisfaction.
“The one who thought it was a good idea should probably not have a job,” wrote an X user.
The American hockey star Zach Werenski reacts to national hymms
“What in the Tarnation,” said another social media account.

Once the match is at the start, it was a difficult competition.
The Oilers equaled the match at the end of the third period, but the Kings celebrated a 6-5 victory in match 1. Los Angeles was also victorious in match 2.
The third match in the series is scheduled for Friday.
