Niall Horan, who is one of the coaches of The voice season 28, was absent from the final promo.
The latest teaser released by NBC featured Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg, Michael Bublé and Ralp Edwards.
The former One Direction member’s absence was mainly noticed by fans, who flooded the comments section with questions about him.
On Monday’s episode, show host Carson Daly mentioned that Niall was “in really bad shape” and shared that the Slow hands the singer will not join the live show.
The singer, however, came forward and revealed that he is “feeling a little better”, but his doctors have prescribed vocal rest, meaning he will no longer perform with his two team finalists.
Horan’s fellow trainer McEntire praised the Irish singer for prioritizing his health and rest.
She told him: “I’m very proud of you Niall for making sure you look after yourself because we want you to be here with your beautiful voice for many years to come.”
Fans are upset to learn Niall won’t be taking the stage for the finale episode. They say that “the final will never be the same”.
One wrote: “Niall not singing? Oh we are so lost.”
