CNN’s international diplomatic editor Nic Robertson visited the control line (LOC), where he met the families of two civilians who would have killed a false meeting by the Indian army.

The visit included a stop where Muhammad Farooq and Muhammad Deen were martyred. Their families, addressing CNN on the camera, launched emotional calls for justice and revealed details on the alleged incident.

According to local sources, the CNN team has been informed of alleged violations of human rights and broader concerns concerning the conduct of the Indian army along the loc.

Defense experts who were addressed to the media said that such false meetings become an increasing international concern, attracting the attention of world rights and media groups.

The Minister of Information and Dissemination of Attaullah Tara has accompanied a delegation of local and foreign journalists to key locations along the loc.

According to officials, the visit aimed to counter what Pakistan describes as a false and baseless propaganda of India concerning the alleged terrorist hiding places.

Journalists were taken to specific sites that India has previously qualified as militant camps. By observing the situation of the land of first hand, in hearing of the testimonies of local residents and in environmental survey, the media delegation had the possibility of independently verifying the facts.

Speaking during the visit, Minister Tarar said: “India has repeatedly made substantive charges against Pakistan. Today, we have presented all the facts before the national and international media. ”
