Nicola Peltz remembers his late grandmother Bunny and Gina.
The actress and filmmaker, 30, went to Instagram on Saturday with a torn tribute to her late grandmothers who died in recent years, featuring several photos of them smiling and laughing together.
Nicola then wrote a long note to Bunny, who died in May 2024 at the age of 95, and Gina, who died on Nicola’s birthday in January 2020.
“In life, we have fundamental memories and this is one of my most favorite days I have ever experienced. They were my best friends, there was not a day when I was not with them,” wrote the actress of Transformers: Age of Extinction.
She continued: “To my Naunni and my Gina, I cannot understand the idea of not being able to kiss you or to hear your laughter right now – I miss you so much. The more I approach the day you leave the earth scares me because I have the impression that I am more distant from you.”
Addressing the images, Nicola said: “I remember this day so clearly, I have made us all of Dior Fancy sneakers and I was so proud to match you every two summer.”
Nicola also informed what reminded him of the two ladies, saying: “Kentucky Derby is today and I will never forget to watch it on television every two every year. I love you both more than anything and I think of you every second.”
