Nicole Kidman wants to bring more Hollywood productions in Nashville.
The 58 -year -old Oscar winner, has led a panel of questions / answers “Nicole Kidman: Where Art meets at home in Nashville” at Nashville Film Festival on Sunday, September 21, where she revealed her joint plans with Reese Witherspoon.
“I will bring more and more production here,” Kidman said at the event at the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Museum CMA. “Reese Witherspoon lives here too, and it is one of my best besties.”
Kidman joked Big little lies will not move to Tennessee, but said that she sees great opportunities for the production of films in Nashville.
“There is so much room here for production,” she said. “The crews are fantastic and the actors, and the people … I think it takes off and will continue to take off, so we leave. Come on, Tennessee, we have it.”
Kidman, who called Nashville Home since 2008, has already filmed the first season of Scarpette There and said she was “delighted” to start work on season 2.
Kidman also called Nashville a city that “inspires so much creativity”, adding that his favorite part of life there is people.
“My favorite thing is people,” she said. “I love the people of Nashville because they kissed me two decades ago and they continue to allow our family to have the most beautiful life here. Incredibly grateful. “
