Abducted men include five from Sindh as law enforcement launches search operation
Unidentified gunmen kidnapped nine workers from a construction site in Mastung district of Balochistan on Thursday. According to official sources, the workers were abducted from Siyah Posh area of Tehsil Dasht, where they were working near a security checkpoint.
The group includes five workers from Sindh and four locals. The police launched a search operation to locate them.
Separately, police found the body of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DSP) Yousuf Reki, who had been missing for several days, near Kardgap in Mastung. Authorities confirmed he was kidnapped and then shot.

“The police officer suffered multiple gunshot wounds and showed signs of torture before being killed,” a police source said. His body was transferred to Mastung District Hospital for an autopsy.
Police have collected forensic evidence, including bullet casings and blood samples, as part of an ongoing investigation to determine the motive and any possible links between the two incidents.
Senior police officers in Balochistan have expressed deep sadness over the killing, calling it a “major loss for the police” and vowing to bring those responsible to justice.
