What do we know about Duskbloods?
Nintendo has amazed the world when he revealed that the Switch 2 would get an exclusive title of the developer acclaimed from Software. Duskbloods should be launched in 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2 only, and will be a title focused on asymmetrical multiplayer.
The game will be different from Elden Ring Nightreign in that he will have a strong PVP element, as opposed to Nightreign’s Strict gameplay PVE. A similarity, however, is that Duskbloods will include predefined characters, all with their own skills and backstories.
Obviously taking benchmarks of Bloodborne, the Duskbloods Explore a Gothic horror framework. But there seem to be more modern elements, such as trains and a rail system.
The director of the game, Hidetaka Miyazaki, was interviewed by Nintendo in the vocal room of a creator. I strongly recommend reading this if you have not already done so, because Miyazaki provides a lot of understanding of the game and its development.
Whether or not it is Duskbloods Make an appearance to this showcase of direct partner of Nintendo remains to be seen, but I certainly crossed my fingers.
The elephant in the room …
I know, you know, we all know it. Each showcase of Direct Partner of Nintendo and Vitrine of the independent world is inevitably accompanied by the same question: “Where is Silksong?”
However, there is a big difference this time. We know Hollow knight: Silksong should be launched in 2025. And recently, Microsoft made waves with his announcement of Rogx Ally pocket computers. Xbox also said that Silk song will be playable on these devices when they launch.
Recent leaks have suggested that ROG Xbox Ally pocket computers could be launched during Gamescom 2025 on August 20. This could also mean that Hollow knight: Silksong will arrive at the same time.
So, what has it to do with this direct Nintendo? Well, it is quite possible that Nintendo beat Xbox in punch with his Silk song Announcement plans. We also saw about five seconds from the next match at the SWITCH 2 initial switch directly in April. So Nintendo has certainly already with the independent Indie title.
We will know it with certainty (or not) in less than two hours …
