The list of Nintendo Switch 2 games which could have problems with launch compatibility have been updated by the company.
Nintendo’s compatibility page has links to three PDFs. These highlight 115 games “with start-up problems on Nintendo Switch 2,” 46 games that have managed to start but can have compatibility problems, and finally 49 games that have problems “planned to be resolved at launch or shortly after”.
In addition, Nintendo has highlighted the software that purely and Nintendo Labo Toy-Con 04: VR kit, As well as video applications, including Crunchyroll, Nicolico, Abema and Hulu. The application of comics and manga inkype will also be unusable. It remains to be seen if these applications will receive dedicated Switch 2 versions in the future.
Finally, a bunch of nintendo switch original games will require the use of the joy-con controllers of this console, and will probably not be compatible with the Joy-Con 2. These are:

- Everyone 1-2 Switch!
- Game generator
- Nintendo Switch Sports
- Warioware: Move it!
- Nintendo lab toy-con 01: variety kit
- Nintendo lab toy-con 02: robot kit
- Nintendo lab toy-con 03: vehicle kit
So far, Nintendo has tested much more than 15,000 Nintendo Switch games for Nintendo Switch 2. The vast majority, around 99% of Nintendo games and 65% of third -party games, have no compatibility problems.
For everything else, the problems are at least investigated by Nintendo, and it should just expect that most Switch 1 games work very well on Switch 2 by the end of 2025.
