Nintendo has announced a new Switch functionality entitled The Virtual Game Card, which facilitates the fight against digital games.
Revived during the Nintendo Direct Showcase of March 27, the new virtual game card feature allows players to easily manage their Nintendo Switch digital games, and it arrives at the end of April as a new system update.
This feature will also facilitate loans to members of the Nintendo family group.
When the update is put online, players will be able to see their digital switch games as virtual gaming cards. They can then be practically loaded and ejected with their library, as are physical play cartridges.

Players cannot lend a single game both on the console of a member of the Nintendo family group, and it will be automatically returned to the owner after 14 days; However, backup data will be stored later.
“This optional feature allows you to view virtual game cards or eject them from your console,” said Nintendo. “The digital game can also be loaned to the console of a member of the Nintendo family group has via a local wireless connection.”
Nintendo has also confirmed that this virtual game card feature will be available on the Nintendo Switch 2 at the launch.
