The Kremlin said that there was no deadline for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine as the process for Moscow and kyiv to develop a unified text for a memorandum of peace and ceasefire will be complex.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov, in the remarks published early Tuesday Tuesday, the creation of a final peace agreement would take time because the details are complicated. The two parties will have to write and exchange drafts before agreeing on a final version.
“There are no delays and there cannot be.
“The projects will be formulated by the Russian and Ukrainian parties, these documents of documents will be exchanged, then – complex contacts to develop a single text,” said Kremlin spokesperson.
President Donald Trump held calls on Monday with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, and the leaders of the European Union, France, Italy, Germany and Finland, in order to advance peace in the three -year war in Ukraine.
Trump said after the appeal that Russia and Ukraine immediately start cease-fire negotiations. Putin said Russia “is ready to work with the Ukrainian side on a memorandum on a possible peace agreement.”
