- Fujifilm Zuh6000 supports the projection on the walls, the ceilings, the floors without moving the projector or adjusting the lens
- The concealed pop-up lens mechanism looks like a turtle retractable neck
- Scheduled to arrive on the market in June 2025, but the price remains under Wraps
Fujifilm has introduced its latest innovation into projection technology, the Fujifilm Zuh6000 projector, an ultra-short 4K projector (UST) equipped with a rotary objective folded with two axials.
This last addition to the Z series is designed to project high definition images with improved color accuracy and smooth gradation.
Compared to its predecessors, it would improve the reproduction of colors by 1.5 times, with red shades, seeing a double improvement.
A retractable lens inspired by nature?
Measuring 486 mm in width, 496 mm deep, 175 mm in height, the Zuh6000 is hardly a portable projector, but you get a lot of loyalty.
At the heart of the Zuh6000 is a high performance DLP chip, which allows it to project 4K resolution images (3840 x 2160 pixels). It supports a brightness of 6000 lumens which is lower than the brightness of 8000 lumens of the Z8000 that Fujifilm published in 2021.
The two -axial lens from the Zuh6000 allows the lens to turn 90 degrees around the mounting axis and 360 degrees around the objective axis. The objective can also be hidden, leaving only the exposed pop-up mechanism which recalls the ability of a turtle to retract and extend its neck.
It also supports a lens offset function which offers up to 82% vertical adjustment and 35% horizontal. This flexibility allows projection in several directions, as well as the fine adjustment of the position of the projected image without physically moving the projector or modifying the lens direction.
An optical zoom mechanism 1.1X guarantees an effective and precise image positioning, which makes it ideal for complex spatial conceptions.
Although there is no official information on the price of this device, it should be published in June 2025.
