Karachi:

Friday, the Su Southern Gas Company (SSGC) announced that there would be no gaseous suspension on the occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (PSL).

In a statement, the company said that the closure of the planned gas of the night – from 11 p.m. to the morning – had been postponed in honor of the religious occasion.

“This decision was made by management for the convenience of consumers,” said the press release.
The SSGC spokesperson confirmed that the uninterrupted gas supply would be provided until 10 p.m. on Saturday (today).

“The management of charges scheduled for Friday and day of the day has been deferred, and there will be no interruption in the gas supply this evening,” added the spokesperson.

A notification published on Wednesday confirmed that the holidays would be observed throughout the province. The holidays correspond to the 12th of Rabi-UL-Awwal, which marks the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PSL).

The federal government also declared on September 6 as a national vacation to mark the religious occasion.
