On Thursday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Iran had not asked for any military assistance in Pakistan and made no request for the move of Iranian refugees on Pakistani territory, in the midst of increased tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv.
Speaking during the weekly press briefing, FO spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, confirmed that no official request had been received from Iran for defense cooperation or refugee support. “We have not received any specific requests for military support from Iran,” he said, adding: “There has been no communication concerning the accommodation of Iranian refugees.”
The spokesman noted that around 3,000 Pakistani nationals have returned from Iran in recent weeks, facilitated by Pakistani diplomatic missions.
“We are grateful to the aid provided by the Iranian authorities and congratulate the hard work of our consulates in Zahedan and Mashhad, as well as our embassy in Tehran. We have an important Pakistani community in Iran … So who wants to come, he is helped to move on the Pakistani side, “he added.

Expressing serious concerns about the climbing of hostilities between Iran and Israel, Khan warned against broader regional implications.
“What is happening in Iran is a very serious problem. This endangers the entire regional and global security structure and has a deep impact on us. Immediate priority is to find a friendly resolution and stop the Israeli aggression,” he said.
He reiterated the long -standing position of Pakistan on the issue, condemning Israeli actions and expressing unequivocal support for Iran.
“Pakistan’s position on Iran is clear and coherent. We strongly condemn the Israeli assault and offer our full moral support to the Iranian people,” he said. “The actions of Israel violate the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Iran. By virtue of the Charter of the United Nations, Iran has the right to defend itself,” he added.
When asked if Pakistan tries to stay neutral in the current Iran-Israeli conflict, the spokesman responded firmly.
“Our support for Iran is fundamental, unequivocal and unambiguous. It is inconceivable for any Pakistani – or the government – to store on the side of Israel. We support diplomacy. We want this madness, this attack and this assault against Iran end, “he said.
Commenting on the Israeli strikes targeting Iranian nuclear installations, Khan called them as “blatant violation” of international laws and guarantees of the IAEA.

In response to a question on the recent interaction of Marshal Asim Munir with American President Donald Trump – in which the latter would have pointed out that the Pakistanis “understand Iran better” – the spokesman said that such comments carried a diplomatic weight.
“Courtesy is fundamental for human interaction, especially in diplomacy. These words are positive,” he said. “And it’s true – Pakistan has deep historical, cultural and linguistic links with Iran.”
With regard to speculation that the United States can request the help of Pakistan in the Middle East, similar to its role during the Afghan conflict, the OP rejected such a notion.
“There is no particular favor that is requested or prolonged,” said Khan. “Pakistan and the United States have a wide and multifaceted relationship. We are committed to regional and security problems in the context of mutual cooperation and friendship. ”
In addition, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has also condemned the recent regulatory changes introduced by India in the Ladakh region, calling them a violation of international law and resolutions of the United Nations Security Council on Jammu-et-Cachemire. Pakistan has called on India to immediately withdraw the measures.
“We support all efforts to make a negotiated resolution for current hostilities and regional disputes,” concluded the spokesperson.
