Islamabad: the president of the Senate, Yousaf, Raza Gilani, expressed his disappointment concerning the failure of the production of Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), Ejaz Chaudhry, despite the repeated production.
In the direction of the chamber session, the president of the Senate judged that such contempt for parliamentary authority cannot be authorized to persist without control, welcomed by a boost by the legislators.
Gilani had expressed production prescriptions for two PTI – Chaudhry and Aon Abbas Buppi senators – a day earlier, but the authorities only produced Bappi, which was arrested recently.
In his speech in the Senate, Bappi expressed his gratitude to the president for having made his production order. He revealed that at 8 a.m., around twenty people entered his house, made a descent into his factory and harassed him.
He informed the house that some people force in his room during the operation, attacked him and demanded his mobile phone.
He was then presented before a judge, who inquired about the charges against him. Bappi said he was accused of chasing five deer.
Expressing his disappointment, he said that rather than feeling relieved to be presented in the Senate, it was more dismayed that Senator Chaudhry has still not been brought to the chamber despite the production order.
He deplored that the President’s orders were once again ignored, saying that his own production prescription was just applied to appease Gilani, because the authorities feared not presideing the session otherwise.
Bappi also demanded the cancellation of his production order, affirming his desire to return to prison. He swore not to attend the procedure unless Chadhry is also brought to the Senate, adding that he would only ask for liberation through appropriate legal channels.
While the Senator of the PTI was trying to go out after concluding his speech, President Gilani arrested him and made the decision.
