- Cloud Windows 365 applications are now on public overview
- A license will cover unlimited users (but one at a time)
- The first testers call for very large improvements
Microsoft has launched the public preview of the Windows 365 cloud applications, so if you are not ready for a full cloud PC desk, you can now choose to broadcast individual applications like Outlook or Word on the go.
Cloud Windows 365 Cloud Applications run on Cloud Frontline Windows 365 PCs in shared mode, they are therefore intended for tasks based on industries such as retail, health care and governments where workers based on quarters and part -time would otherwise accuse costs.
The license model authorizes “unlimited users by license with an active session at the same time,” said Serena Zhang, software engineer.
Microsoft has launched Cloud W365 applications
“Since Cloud Windows 365 applications only distribute essential applications like Outlook or Word without loading a complete office, it is ideal for tasks based,” added Zheng.
By delivering essential applications only, administrators can save resources and simplify management.
Previously available in Private Preview, the launch of the public preview comes with some improvements, such as a Windows 365 filter in the Windows application and the ONEDRIVE automatic launch.
However, general availability and a really smooth process could still be out of reach for the moment. Private preview users have complained that the requirement to create personalized images of the Windows 365 cloud applications was obsolete.
In advance, Microsoft plans to integrate cloud applications with intune for easier and more modern applications.
“As requested by customers, we are working to make intune the single glass component for the deployment of applications,” noted Zheng.
On the same day, Microsofter Go Komatsu announced the general availability of the Windows 365 front line in dedicated mode for US government customers, with a license covering up to three (non -current) workers.
Microsoft also chose the same day to launch Copilot in Intune for Windows 365 in the hope of making computer management simpler and faster, making a big day for computer -based computer.
