- Remarkable teased a new product launch for September 3
- It could be a more portable electronic paper tablet
- We have been launched three remarkable tablets so far
So far, we have had three generations of the remarkable tablet, but there is apparently another on the way – and all the indications are that we will see an electronic paper device with a smaller shape factor.
Remarkable has published a Teaser clip announcing a special event for September 3 at 8 a.m. (it’s 5:00 a.m. PT / 13 H BST / 22 H AST), and a new product launch seems likely.
Based on the very brief overview that we get a tablet, and the slogan “something is in motion”, it seems that portability is a priority this time. It is logical that remarkable want to publish a version more favorable to its pocket of its device E INK.
There are also clues on thicker glasses and color support here, although it is difficult to be certain of such a brief series of photos. If you want to join speculation before Wednesday, go to this Reddit thread.
What I want to see
To watch
Having used the remarkable 2, I am happy to see that another tablet is on the way to the company: remarkable products have always been reliable and well made, and I think that a more portable digital laptop is a good idea.
In terms of what I want to see in the remarkable pocket (or whatever what is called), I think that a strong selection of cases is a must: a variety of options to keep the device well protected in motion, and which offers a place to store the stylus.
Something else that I would really like to see is the support of certain apps for taking third -party notes. I use Google Keep to organize a large part of my life, and it would be great to be able to bring these notes to the screen, in addition to the existing management of Google Drive.
Finally, it could be a pile wish, but I would like to see such a low as remarkable price can get it. The last remarkable paper pro starts at $ 579 / £ 559 / $ 929 in, which is relatively stiff, and a more affordable option in a smaller factor would be welcome.
