- NVIDIA revealed that the RTX 5070 TI will be sold on February 20
- It will be followed by the RTX 5070 on March 5, despite the fact that Nvidia originally declared that this GPU would arrive in February as well as the Ti
- The launch date of the RTX 5070 TI and the delay in early March for the RTX 5070 were predicted by the rumor mill
Nvidia confirmed the launch dates of its RTX 5070 graphics cards, the RTX 5070 Ti arriving as planned in February, but the RTX 5070 vanilla having been pushed a little to Mars, because the rumors had already insisted on the case.
NVIDIA has updated its official web page for RTX 5070 models with the exact dates, which are on February 20 for the RTX 5070 TI and March 5 for the RTX 5070.
Team Green has also published on X to reveal information about the RTX 5070 TI, and how the graphics card comes from PC advice and manufacturers-Remember, this variant will not have a founding edition of Nvidia itself .

The RTX 5070, on the other hand, will have an edition of the founders, but you are waiting for a few more weeks to try to order this, or to try to enter a third graphics card.
To try Being the word operating here, because it remains to be seen the type of stock levels with which the RTX 5070 models launch.
Analysis: rumors were right
This does not increase particularly well as back when all the new Blackwell graphics cards were revealed in CES 2025, Nvidia said that these two RTX 5070 variants were to arrive in February at a given moment (without giving specific dates). Shortly after, there were early rumors suggesting that the RTX 5070 non-Ti version would be delayed in early March, and that’s exactly what happened.
Why (slight) delay, then? Could this be to perform interference with the RX 9070 launch of AMD in one way or another, which is also in March? I doubt it, and a more likely turn of events is found by considering the most recent development with chattering of the vine. Namely, the story turned earlier in the day on the stock of RTX 5070 perhaps very thin on the ground – potentially a situation similar to that which we saw with the RTX 5090 and 5080.
Now, it’s just a rumor, and I’m not saying it’s true, but it certainly makes sense when you put everything together under the cold light of the day. Since Nvidia’s stock problems have been quite disastrous so far, if the RTX 5070 should arrive in healthy quantities, it would be a surprise. It is certainly a credible theory that Vanilla 5070 had to be a little pushed back to ensure something like a half decent quantity of these graphics cards are found on the shelves.
The other problem with the RTX 5070 is that, given its more affordable price, this GPU will be much more requested than all the Blackwell graphics cards that we have seen so far – which makes a tight offer a scenario potentially well worse.
In addition, keep in mind that the same hawker of rumors who was right on the late RTX 5070 delay, also suggested that the RTX 5060 was also postponed (from March to April).
Naturally, stay skeptical on this particular RTX 5060 nugget, but the other widespread rumor, that of the RTX 5070 TI launch on February 20, was also correct. In short, the rumor mill seems to have nailed what is going well with the blackwell GPUs incoming so far, so at this stage, I certainly do not bet against.
