- The new Hotfix GeForce Hotfix Display of Nvidia 572.75 solves the problem of overclocking for some
- Black screen connection problems remain because users express other complaints
- This adds to the growing list of Team Green controversies in the middle of the launch of the RTX 5000 series
The recent pilots of Nvidia Ready Ready came with a list of problems, which seem to have started with the launch of its RTX 5000 series and seems to affect all kinds of RTX GPU owners. However, while Team Green works hard to solve pilot hiccups, some users are always frustrated.
As highlighted on the NVIDIA assistance page, a new Hotfix GeForce 572.75 display pilot was published with implementation notes on an overclocking problem, including black screen problems (especially on GPUs in the RTX 5000 series). This occurs after the previous game Ready Driver 572.70 which added the support of the new GPU RTX 5070 and was supposed to solve a black screen start -up problem that leaves users trapped on a blank connection screen when it is connected via DisplayPort on certain monitors. Unfortunately, it seems that the latter remains for some users.
It is not exactly clear if the problem stems from the dedicated management of the pilots for the new BlackWell GPU GPPS of Team Green – one thing that is clear, however, is that the problem of the black screen occurs mainly during the start of the system which makes the PCs inoperable (beyond the BIOS) until they are repaired via the Windows recovery mode.
After facing black screen problems, I came back to Driver 572.47, and this was fluid without any blatant problem to note. Due to the reports that the latter Hotfix does not seem to have completely solved the problems, this is another reason why it may be preferable to avoid updating the pilots for the moment unless necessary.

More momentum for AMD …
It is not a secret for anyone that the launch of the RTX 5000 series was a bit of a waste – missing ROP reports, limited availability, swollen prices (partner cards), and now driver’s problems, he has left certain fans of Team Green in a sour mood.
AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 series has also just launched, appreciating praise for its performance capacities at affordable prices – and although it is not a perfect launch because the prices in some retailers are above the PDSF, Team Red was much better compared to its main rival.
The tide seems to become radically now, because the GPU pilots of Radeon of AMD have often been criticized for problems in the past – which some used as reason to avoid the GPUs of Radeon – but this now happens with the pilots ready to use the Nvidia game.
If this same scheme continues, I expect AMD GPUs to become much more popular among PC players – and as the one who has shouted for competition against the domination of the Nvidia market, it is pleasant to see – although I prefer that the success of AMD is not at the cost of bad experiences for the owners of GPU Nvidia.
