Nvidia may dominate the industry, but Oracle is still banking on AMD chips for its superclusters

Oracle announced the expansion of its partnership with AMD at its annual AI World conference, revealing that it will become the first hyperscaler to offer a publicly available supercluster powered by 50,000 AMD Instinct MI450 Series GPUs.

The two companies already have a long-standing partnership and this news builds on previous deployments using AMD’s MI300X and MI355X GPUs.
