Trick Williams entered the story on Sunday evening at the NXT Battleground when he beat Joe Hendry for the TNA World Championship during the final match of the Premium Live event.
Williams has targeted Hendry in recent weeks when the latter superstar had led. Hendry won the TNA World Championship against Nic Nemeth in Tna Genesis. He appeared on WWE television since he entered the Royal Rumble last February and set to the plate to face Randy Orton in Wrestlemania 41.

However, Williams became Hendry’s main opponent when the Scottish called him at the end of last month. He even interfered in Williams’ attempt to become candidate No. 1 Battle Royal for the NXT championship. This allowed the battlefield match to be official.
Williams and Hendry fought valiantly. Over the match, Williams tried to use the TNA belt for watchmaker Hendry. The referee removed it before he could use it. Hendry rolled it before he could use it but only obtained one account.
Hendry opted for standing ovation before Williams raked his eyes. Williams struck a Flapjack on Hendry, who fell opposite the title, who posed on the web. Williams struck a tour of Hendry and pinned him for the victory.

Williams became the first WWE active superstar to hold the TNA world championship – an important moment in the recent partnership of the two companies.
Hendry was the only champion not to defend his title on the map.

Sol Ruca beat Kelani Jordan to keep the North American female championship. Stephanie Vaquer has passed Jordynne Grace to keep the NXT female championship. Oba Femi defended the NXT championship against Myles Borne.
It is not known what the future will hold for Williams, but that should give it a huge boost of the momentum for the coming weeks.
