The shooter who took over a high -rise building in the heart of New York on Monday evening was trying to target the siege of the NFL, but took the bad bank of the elevator, said Mayor Eric Adams on Tuesday.
Adams appeared on “Good Day New York” by Fox 5 NY and said that the shooter, identified as Shane Tamura, has accidentally entered the bad elevator banks. He said he had gone to the ground where Rudin was in the direction.

“It is regrettable that during these days and hours, active shooting exercises take place throughout the country and that Rudin’s management has clearly done these active shooting exercises and the staff members who were in the building were able to use some of the safety rooms and I think it played a big role in the safeguard of the life of certain staff members,” he said.
Adams added that the shooter alluded to having suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and that he had a complaint against the NFL.
“He seemed to have blamed the NFL,” said the mayor. “The NFL headquarters was located in the building and wrongly did the bad elevator bench.”
Adams said the investigators crossed the “suicide note” that the shooter had left.
The New York Post first reported the notion of “suicide note” found near its body on the 33rd floor. PK Press Club Digital contacted NYPD and NFL to comment.

Tamura was a high school football player in Granada Hills Charter in Granada Hills, California, about 40 kilometers northwest of Los Angeles.
The NFL headquarters was located in the same building where Tamura had killed several people and left several other injured. The league officers are on the fifth floor.
New York police commissioner Jessica Tisch said Tamura had history problems.
Tisch said Tamura had traveled the Cross-Country, her vehicle being seen for the last time in Columbia, New Jersey, at 4:24 p.m. It was not long before he was unleashed a shots dam in the high -rise building.
The NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent a message, obtained by PK Press Club Digital, to all the employees of the League announcing the traumatic event. An NFL employee was “seriously injured”.

“As was largely reported, a shooter committed an unspeakable act of violence in our building at 345 Park Avenue. One of our employees was seriously injured in this attack,” said the message. “He is currently in the hospital and in a stable state. NFL staff are in the hospital and we support their family.
“We believe that all of our employees are otherwise safe and taken into account, and the building has almost been authorized.”
Goodell added to pay attention to all opinions with emergency information, as the situation remained fluid.
