The answers to today’s strands, the game # 388, are…
- ZEBRA
- Sweaty
- Withog
- HYENA
- ELEPHANT
- HORNBILL
- Spangram: Lion King
- My note: Easy
- My score: 1 index
Even if it was quite obvious that the strands of today were for the king of the lion, I have always hung the lion as a word with a lower index – not that clues were necessary in a search for simple words.
I would bet that the zebra was almost the first word of everyone, not that they appear a lot in history, acting like extras and the butt of some jokes.
Although it is the animal kingdom, including a flatulant phaccoère, this classic story of the rivalry of the brothers and sisters is very Shakespearian. Indeed, the screenwriter Irene Mecchi said that the idea of the film had been presented to him as Bamblet – Hamlet taking place in the jungle with a little bambi.
