- SPANGRAM: SANDPAPER
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 1 clue
Stupidly, I thought today’s theme was about westerns. Demonstrating how out of place I was, I found sand and paper to be words that weren’t part of the game, without thinking for a second about putting them together.
Luckily, a clue sent me in the right direction and I was able to find the many words describing an uneven surface.
If this collection of words – not all of which could be applied to SANDPAPER – has made you uncomfortable, you’re not alone and might suffer from trypophobia, the fear of surfaces that are rough, bumpy, or filled with holes. I’ll use that excuse the next time I have to do some sanding.
