The answers to today’s Strands, game #614, are…
- SAMBA
- TANGO
- SALSA
- TÉJANO
- MARIACHI
- REGGAETON
- SPANGRAM: LATIN MUSIC
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 2 tips
It took me a while to “find the rhythm”, but SAMBA hidden in the upper left corner was a big help getting me started.
After that, I discovered the more obvious forms of LATIN MUSIC – TANGO and SALSA being easy – but I used two tricks to get closer to completion.
The longest word in the game, REGGAETON, was the hardest for me to grasp, despite the fact that it was a simple left-to-right movement. I will attribute it to musical ignorance and starting the day early.
