NYT Strands today (game #692) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #692, are…
- BOAT
- PARTY
- WATER
- NIGHT
- STAR
- LYS
- SPANGRAM: FAMOUS PAINTING
- My rating: Easy
- My rating: Perfect
Solving this puzzle was simple enough, but telling you which FAMOUS PAINTING is depicted is much more difficult.
My first thought was The starry night on the Rhône by Vincent Van Gough, but I don’t think it contains LILIES or much sign of a PARTY.
If the spangram had been plural, I would have considered a mashup of Van Gough and Monet. Alas, I have a Saturday to live and so I will have to live with the mystery and contentment of a completed puzzle.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Friday, January 23, Game #691)

- NAIVE
- SPANGRAM: NEHIER
