- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 2 tips
This game played a real trick on me – ironic considering the spangram.
I started out thinking that ‘following suit’ must mean card suits and after easily getting spades and hearts, I set about looking for diamonds, clubs and a joker. Having found none of these, I decided to take inspiration from the non-gaming words I had spotted, which gave me WHIST.
Spangram and BRIDGE were easy to spot, but the last two decks really drove me crazy. Another hint helped me narrow things down, which I needed, having never played either PINOCHLE or EUCHRE.
