Strands left me perplexed today, for the second day in a row.
Luckily, I managed to find plenty of non-gaming words, including the 9-letter word “reception”. If I had looked more carefully at this point, I might have seen OPTION sooner. Instead, it took a clue before I realized what the theme was.
After my initial triumph, I figured out another clue and, thank goodness, I did – because DRUTHERS is one of those words that only exists in New York Times puzzle games and novels by Stephen Fry.
